Whenever I comprehend my life is simple,
I find it immediately complex.
Simplicity is elusive to me but almost always present.
Maybe simplicity precedes complexity and follows it exhaustively.
Whenever I try to find solutions to complexity,
There arise new questions?
Maybe complexity convey untried questions,
And questions accompany anomalous answers.
What do I desire then?
Simplicity over complexity?
But simple feels hard.
As it requires you to be true to the world filled with lies.
Sometimes I have to look back to see it,
Hidden amongst the chaos,
It was there all along.
Didn't see it then as I didn't have the right lens.
I feel simplicity is stickier then complexity,
As it survives and wins in the long run.
Maybe nature teaches us that we learn it in time and survive,
And as the great scholars say,
Simplicity is just a simple philosophy,
"Fill what’s empty. Empty what’s full. And scratch where it itches."
